DLP CAMPAIGN TRAIN GOES TO BATACA AND PORTSMOUTH SUNDAY

Following on the heels of another successful political, event last night, the lead contender for the 2019 General Elections carded for December 6, the oldest and most experienced, Dominica Labour Party (DLP) will split its campaign train in to two directions today.

The announcement was made last night by Master -of-Ceremony, Edward Registe, at the DLP National Youth Rally at the Bath Estate Playing Field last night. The theme of the event was the ‘Launching of DLP Youth Agenda’. and was used as a platform for the DLP electoral team to explain what the party proposes in its recently, launched Dynamic Dominica, 2019 manifesto at Mahaut on Friday.

Registe who is also the Dominica Labour Party’s choice to run for the Grand Bay seat, told the SEA OF RED that the Labour tsunami would from the South, gather supporters from the south and south East and head for Bataca to re-endorse Cozier Frederick as the winning candidate for the Salybia Constituency.

Meanwhile, communities north of Roseau will head for Portsmouth collecting labourites from the Eastern communities to re-endorse long-serving, parliamentarian, Ian Douglas as its choice contest the Portsmouth constituency.

DYNAMIC DOMINICA – A NEW SEASON OF DEVELOPMENT

The Dominica Labour Party (DLP), founded in 1955, will be running for all 21 seats in the December 6 polls in search for an unprecedented 5th consecutive term in office. The DLP is putting to the Dominican voters its record of achievements over the past 20 years in office. In particularly its disaster mitigation and hurricane recovery programs post hurricane Maria. Furthermore, in addition, the party has released it 2019 manifesto: Dynamic Dominica – a new season of development.
