Coastal Watches/Warnings and Forecast Cone for Storm Center (Nhc.noaa.gov. 2019).

Hey! heads up First Responders,

This is day 92 of the 2019 Atlantic Hurricane Season.

Just over a week, ago everyone was remarking how quite the season has been so far. And then the media began talking about that we are nearing the peak of the season. Actually, September 10th.

“that would allow members of the protective services and employees of utility companies and the ports of entry to immediately resume work following the passage of Tropical Storm Dorian. Barbados Prime Minister, Mia Amor Mottley

” Then things changed when the National Hurricane Center announced on Saturday, August 24th that tropical depression 5 had formed in the Atlantic. by Tuesday, August 27, Tropical Storm Dorian was baptized, and the Lesser Antilles were put on alert. Particularly, Barbados and St Lucia. Barbados went into lockdown. Dominica initially, declared that no shut down was necessary, did a U-turn when the vulnerability of the country was tested with heavy rain. Barbados PM Mia Mottley, in a post-storm press conference, remarked that this was a dry run for her nation.

Then he shifted his course. I suspect this hurricane is dancer, and we can expect more turns and twists, here what one SURVIVOR said on YOUTUBE, on Wednesday, August 28, 2019.

“Initially Tropical Storm Dorian was forecasted to be well south of the Virgin Islands. Instead, overnight it took a dramatic northerly turn and hit St. Thomas directly at 2pm.”

Actually, the eye of Hurricane Dorian now a category 1 sat on top of the USVI island of St Thomas. State of emergencies were declared by both the governors of the BVI and the USVI and social media evidenced that that part of the Caribbean region was impacted by torrential rain.

Today August 31, The Northern Bahamas are under a Hurricane Warning. Yes, but most likely all interests in that part of the region will no doubt face hours of both hurricane and tropical force weather and very disturbed further afield.

Looking Ahead

Hurricane Dorian now a Category 4 monster, and a major headache for the authorities in Florida and the Carolinas Models suggest that ‘Dorian’ continues to strengthen and are expecting landfall somewhere along the south USA between Florida and Carolina late Monday early Tuesday.

That little pussy cat is now a raging tiger. I call it –
